
A 39-year old Minnesota man is recovering from injuries after being struck by a snow plow early Wednesday morning.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Department was notified by the county highway department that a plow driver hit an individual who was lying on Highway 21 north of Richwood around 3:00 a.m.
Authorities say the road surface was snow and ice covered. The plow driver administered first aid until emergency teams arrived on scene.
The individual – identified as Mathew Larson of White Earth (MN) – was unconscious but had no obvious signs of trauma. Larson was transported to Essentia St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes.
The incident remains under investigation.
