GF schools land mental health grant

The North Dakota Department of Human Services – Behavioral Health Division has awarded Grand Forks Public Schools with a $106,843 grant.  The money will support a number of social-emotional intervention and prevention programs.  Programming will include short-term counseling support services for students and/or employees, mental health literacy, support for the school system’s comprehensive counseling program, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools and funding for the Sources of Strength program.
