GF woman faces charge after Fargo accident

A Grand Forks woman faces a charge of felony reckless endangerment after an accident in Fargo early this (Wed) morning.

Shortly after midnight, Fargo Police got a report that a vehicle had fled West Fargo Police into Fargo.

An officer saw the vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Danielle Franklin, speeding and traveling in the wrong lane of traffic on 13th Avenue South.

Police say the vehicle ran a red light and collided with a semi-tractor.

Firefighters extracted Franklin from the vehicle, which was confirmed stolen out of Moorhead. Franklin was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A passenger, 33-year-old Steven Summers of West Fargo, fled on foot and was apprehended by West Fargo police after a short pursuit.

Summers was arrested for refusing to halt and possession of methamphetamine (2nd offense).
