North Dakota’s health department has identified 100 new COVID-19 cases in today’s (Tue’s) report. (That’s up 72 from Monday.) Cass County led the way with 37. Grand Forks County added five.
The state’s daily positivity rate rose slightly to 3.22 percent.
There are 576 active cases, with 37 in Grand Forks County.
No new deaths were reported.
Nineteen people are in hospitals, including one in ICU.
North Dakota has issued 264,281 vaccine doses so far… with 157,604 people getting at least one dose.

Minnesota’s numbers are up. The state has 1,641 new cases (a jump of 1,168 from Monday).
140 new deaths were reported (an increase of 134 from Monday). The new deaths include two from Polk County. (MN toll: 6,696).
231 people are hospitalized, with 50 in intensive care.
1,086,936 Minnesotans have had at least one vaccine dose (19.5 percent of population)… and 602,623 have completed their vaccine series (10.8 percent).
