(KNOX) -Three of the five Grand Forks Commissioners would like the County Correctional Center Administrator gone.
The State of North Dakota said that Bret Burkholder did not follow the guidelines for a state grant that his facility received. The Grand Forks County Sherriff’s Office received word from the state that the money was not spent correctly.
The County Correctional Center Administrator is under the County Sheriff’s Office.
The Grand Forks County Sheriff is the only one who can fire the Correctional Center Administrator.
The Grand Forks County Commission can only give advice on the matter.
