A head-on crash west of Drayton (ND) Friday night claimed the life of a 65 year old man.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the victim was heading east on Highway 65 around 7:45 p.m. The driver crossed into the east bound lane and struck a Jeep Wrangler being driven by a 24 year old Williston (ND) man. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jeep received serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
The NDHP says the crash remains under investigation.
