A 68-year-old Waubun (MN) man was killed in a one-vehicle accident shortly before noon today (Thu) in Mahnomen County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the man was driving an SUV eastbound on Highway 113 east of Waubun, when it left the road, struck a guard rail, entered a a ditch and went into a small pond.
Troopers say the man was not wearing a seat belt.
Road coditions were dry at the time.
The victim’s name will be released tomorrow (Fri).
