(AP) – A Minnesota State Senator accused of first-degree burglary has had both her court date and her ethics hearing moved to dates in July.
Nicole Mitchell allegedly broke into her stepmother’s Detroit Lakes home to retrieve items that belonged to her late father.
Mitchell’s court hearing was pushed back to July 1 because of her lawyer’s schedule conflict.
Her ethics hearing has been pushed back to July 25.
Mitchell is not up for re-election until 2026. She says she will not resign.
