(KNOX) – A 60-year-old Park River man is dead after his vehicle collided with a tree seven miles east of Park River.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Roger Johnson of Park River was westbound in an F-150 on State Highway 17 at the “Hoople turn”.
Johnson failed to negotiate the curve and continued west into the ditch of State Highway 17. He struck a tree in the north ditch and suffered fatal injuries striking the tree.
The crash is under investigation.
