A fire destroyed a garage in Mentor (MN) on Tuesday. The Polk County Sheriff’s Department says fire teams were notified of the blaze over the noon hour. When crews arrived the structure was engulfed in flames. There were no injuries. The building was deemed a total loss. According to the Minnesota State Fire Marshall the cause may be linked to a propane garage heater. Firefighters from Mentor and Fertile battled the blaze.
