(KNOX) – “Pomp and Circumstance” was played Sunday at dozens of rural high school graduations in North Dakota.
Locally, Riverside Christian School in East Grand Forks celebrated its first graduating class ever with a ceremony inside the Empire Arts Center in Grand Forks.
Six students make up the Class of 2024.
Jessica Fulcher, Kenadi Schryver, Kaitlyn Stephan, Josiah Sundby, Olivia Van Straaten, and Jesse Westbrook were recognized as motivated pioneers of Riverside Christian School.
Fulcher recalled their freshman year during the COVID-19 pandemic. The semester started three weeks late… and the time was made up during Christmas break. All six students took seven final exams in one day.
Each of the high school graduates signed the Riverside Christian School Bible before receiving their diplomas.
