(KNOX) – Former University of North Dakota wide receiver and return specialist Weston Dressler will join the Canadian Football League Hall of Fame.
Dressler played at UND from 2004 to his senior season in 2007.. when he became the first North Central Conference player to earn first team honors as a receiver, return specialist and utility player.
He graduated as UND’s all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown catches with 38.
Dressler played in 161 games for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers in his 11-year CFL career.
He won the Grey Cup in 2013 in front of his Roughriders home crowd.
Dressler will officially be inducted in an evening ceremony Friday, Sept. 13.
