North Dakota continues to show low virus positivity rate

North Dakota health officials are reporting 47 new positive COVID-19 tests, lifting the total number of confirmed cases to 98,597. Grand Forks County reported  3 new cases.  State lab officials processed 1,725 tests since Saturday, a positivity rate of 3.5%. The COVID Tracking Project reports that over the past two weeks, the rolling average number of daily new cases in North Dakota has decreased by 37%. No new deaths were included in Sunday’s update. A total of 1,431 people have died from complications due to the virus since the pandemic began.
