(KNOX) – The University of North Dakota will celebrate 100 years for the Department of Communication with an afternoon of events followed by dinner and a reception Thursday, April 25 in the Memorial Union Ballroom.
Mike Nowatski, communications director for North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum… will deliver the Jack Hagerty Lecture… which was established in 1984.
Running throughout the afternoon will be the Communication Class Showcase and Photo Exhibition, which will feature student poster presentations, along with current and historic department photos, which will be displayed in the ballroom.
The Department of Communication will award more than $43,000 in 28 scholarships to 38 Communication majors.
