Former North Dakota Lt. Governor Lloyd Omdahl has died.
Omdahl served with Governor George Sinner starting in 1987. He assumed the role after the death of Ruth Meiers. Sinner and Omdahl won a second term in 1988.
He was also a professor of political science at UND. He was also a state tax commissioner in the 1960’s.
Funeral arrangements are pending. Omdahl was 93.
