A long-time member of the Grand Forks Police Department has died.
Captain Dean Brown passed away Monday in Grand Forks. Brown started as a patrolman in 1956 and left the department after 40 years on the job.
The Hadley (MN) native graduated from Park River (ND) High School. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Funeral Services are scheduled for March 12th at the Norman Funeral Home.
Brown was 90.
