(KNOX) -The Presidential Primary Election is coming up in Minnesota on Tuesday, March 5.
Voters can check their voter registration online, find where they vote, or view a sample ballot on the Secretary of State website.
Voters have to request a ballot of the party they wish to vote for. There are three major political parties that are recognized by the State of Minnesota, and they are the Legal Marijuana Now Party, the Republican Party, and the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.
Absentee voting is available at City Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m through March 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, and again 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, March 4.
Polling locations will be open on March 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For this election, voters from Wards 3, 4, and 5 will need to enter Door 1 at the Senior High School. Voting will be taking place in Room 195, which is right by the Door 1 Entrance.
