A Grafton teacher is a Milken Award winner. The national honor was presented to Katelyn Gorder during a surprise assembly of students and staff on Wednesday.
Gorder is the sole Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) teacher at Grafton High School. Along with the honor comes a $25,000 dollar check. She is the only North Dakota recipient of the Milken Educator Award for the 2023-24 school season.
The Grafton native earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) from North Dakota State University in 2015.
