The jury trial for a Grand Forks man charged with gross sexual imposition and burglary is scheduled to begin next Tuesday. 39-year old Erik Gonzalez appeared at a status conference in court on Thursday. He is accused of assaulting a woman while she was sleeping in her apartment. The most serious charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years and or a $20,000 dollar fine.
