If you received a speeding ticket in Grand Forks last year you weren’t alone.
Grand Forks police handed out 931 tickets for excessive speed in 2023. A year end tally also suggests there were 311 DUI’s last year. That compares to 588 and 250 respectively in 2022.
Other 2023 year-end stats show there were 346 seat-belt citations issued and 143 motorists were cited for distracted driving.
