Colby Braun has been named interim director of the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Braun will replace Dave Krabbenhoft who is retiring the first of the year.
Braun has served as DOCR’s director of facility operations since August 2018. He previously served for nearly five years as warden of the North Dakota State Penitentiary.
In making the appointment Governor Doug Burgum says the process of selecting the next director is already underway.
