NDHP investigating fatal crashes

A 59 year old Dickinson (ND) woman was killed when the pickup she was a passenger in rolled on I-94 Saturday night.  The North Dakota Patrol says the 59-year old driver lost control on the ice/snow covered road and entered the ditch.  The victim, identified as Sandra Deichert, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver and two other passengers…ages 29 and seven…were transported to the hospital in Dickinson with unknown injuries.

A crash between a Jeep and a semi in Alice (ND) on Saturday claimed the life of a 71 year old Lisbon (ND) man.  The NDHP says the accident occurred along Highway 38 around 12:15 p.m.  Authorities say the victim crossed over the centerline into the opposite lane of travel striking the semi head-on.  The semi driver was not injured.
