A 19 year old Fargo man suffered serious injuries after crashing his pickup into the back of a semi in Richland County last night (Tuesday). The accident closed a stretch of Highway 46 east of Kindred (ND) for about an hour as the pickup became engulfed in flames.
The North Dakota Patrol says Evan Fraedrich managed to escape the burning vehicle and was transferred to Sanford in Fargo for treatment.
The accident occurred shortly before 8:00 p.m. Both vehicles were heading east at the time of the crash. The 64 year old driver of the semi was not injured.
