The search for a missing 24 year old hunter in northwestern Minnesota has ended.
The St. Paul man was located safe over the weekend after disappearing from his hunting party on Saturday. The hunter failed to show up at a designated spot in Clearwater County at 5:00 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol searched for two hours on Saturday using an aircraft fitted within infrared cameras without success. Additional Clearwater County deputies responded Sunday and began searching trails on ATV’s and on foot.
Around 10:15 a.m. a private citizen located the lost hunter walking along a trail — he was reunited with his hunting party.
