A 37 year old Mandan man is North Dakota’s latest traffic fatality victim.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Jesse Taylor was heading east on Memorial Highway in Mandan when he veered into westbound traffic. Taylor’s car struck a pickup head on with both vehicles coming to rest blocking both westbound lanes. The accident occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
Taylor was transported to Sanford Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup was identified as 56 year old Tamara Giese of Mandan. Giese was transported to St. Alexis Hospital with serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
