KraftHeinz has announced a voluntary recall. The company says a problem with a machine that wraps its Kraft Singles American cheese could result in a small strip of the wrapper remaining on the cheese – creating a possible choking risk. There have been no injuries and the glitch has been fixed. Over 83 thousand cases of cheese are part of the recall.
The company’s website says the packages contain the letter S and number 72 in their manufacturing code.
