The crash of a small plane south of New Rockford on Tuesday has claimed the life of a 63 year old Jamestown (ND) man. The North Dakota Patrol says the agricultural aircraft was spraying a sunflower field when it hit an electrical wire west of Highway 281 about 12:30 p.m. The pilot died on scene. The name of the victim has not been released. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
