The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says a the body of a female was located in a cornfield today (Mon). It was found in the general area where, on Sunday, authorities discovered an abandoned car believed to have been driven by 60-year-old Beth Super in rural Nielsville.
Super, of Flensburg (MN), was recently reported missing in Morrison County.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office had said Super was supposed to be headed to a residence in Todd County, but never arrived.
The body was located with the assistance of the Grand Forks UAS team.
It was taken to the UND School of Medicine Forensic Pathology for autopsy and identification.
Officials say there are no public safety concerns at this time. No other information is being released.
The investigation is ongoing.
