ND & MN accidents and crashes

The North Dakota Patrol has identified the driver of a car that crashed into a bus heading to the Sky Dancer Casino on Saturday. Authorities say the accident occurred west of Belcourt (ND) at the intersection of BIA Road 8 and 11. The NDHP says Edward Thomas of Belcourt was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the bus –20-year old Cole Brien — was transported to the hospital in Belcourt with minor injuries.

An ATV accident in Becker County on Saturday has claimed the life of a 61-year old Fargo man. The Becker County Sheriff’s Department was no-tified of the crash shortly after 5:00 p.m. When emergency personnel ar-rived on the scene life saving measures were performed — but the victim Jon Darling died at the scene. Authorities say Darling was riding on a trail west of County Road 35 and collided with a tree. The accident re-mains under investigation.

The Minnesota Highway Patrol has identified a 53-year old man who died in a Friday night crash in Kittson County. Authorities say Timothy Undeberg of Halma (MN) was heading north on Highway 59 when his vehicle left the road and rolled. The accident occurred around 9:00 p.m. Undeberg was not wearing a seat-belt. The accident remains under investigation.
