A late night stabbing in Grand Forks has led to the arrest of a 19-year old suspect.
Grand Forks police were called to 500 North 8th Street shortly before 11:30 p.m. When officers arrived they found a 31-year old man who had been stabbed in the chest with an unknown object. The victim was transported to Altru Hospital – his condition is unknown at this time.
Police say the suspect fled the scene but was later located at the home of a relative. Authorities say the victim and suspect know each other.
The incident remains under investigation.
