A semi-SUV crash on I-94 in Fargo on Thursday afternoon resulted in a drug bust for responding law enforcement. The North Dakota Patrol says the truck driver called for assistance when the SUV failed to yield when merging onto I-94 resulting in an accident.
When troopers arrived on scene they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the SUV. During the course of the investigation the NDHP arrested 25-year old David Sander of Georgia. Inside the vehicle authorities found 33 fentanyl pills…marijuana…multiple scales…drug paraphernalia…as well as a Glock 19 weapon.
Sanders was charged with delivery of a controlled substance…DUI drugs…and possession of marijuana. A juvenile male was also in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
