North Dakota’s Supreme Court has rejected a Fargo man’s appeal of his conviction in the murder of a 14-year-old girl.
Last year, 24-year-old Arthur Kollie (COLLIE) was found guilty of murder, aggravated assault and robbery in the 2021 attack of Jupiter Paulsen in a Fargo parking lot.
Kollie was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
In his appeal, Kollie contended that his rights were violated during his trial in 2022. He also claimed that there were un-recorded sidebar conferences between the judge and attorneys during the trial.
The High Court voted unanimously to affirm the district court’s criminal judgment.
