North Dakota is rolling out a redesigned driver’s license and photo ID card. The new look cards are currently available in Bismarck but will become statewide in the coming days and weeks.
The license now features the North Dakota badlands and includes a sunrise ultraviolet image along with an updated state logo. It also incorporates state-of-the-art technology designed to make it more difficult to counterfeit.
Driver License Division Director Brad Schaffer says there’s no rush to get a new card as your current license is still good until it expires.
