One man is dead following a shooting outside an unlicensed nightclub in Minneapolis early Sunday morning. Minneapolis police responded to the scene just before 4:30 a.m. and found a male victim with life threatening gunshot wounds lying in the middle of the road. Despite life-savings measures the victim died at the hospital.
Authorities say the preliminary investigation suggests a verbal altercation outside the club escalated into gunfire. There were more than 100 people in the area at the time of the shooting. During the confusion an adult male in his 40’s was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The striking vehicle left the scene.
No arrests have been made.
