The Scheels store in Fargo has a “U-N-D Hockey Greats” plaque for sale.
The plaque features University of North Dakota greats such as Jonathan Toews, T.J. Oshie, Zach Parise, Matt Greene, Travis Zajac, Matt Frattin and Drew Stafford. But in the upper left corner is Brett Hull, who never played at U-N-D.
Hull actually played for U-M-D — the University of Minnesota-Duluth, a longtime rival of North Dakota.
Hull went on to a long NHL career and is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Customers and die-hard U-N-D fans have told Scheels about the mistake.
