Doug Burgum’s campaign says the presidential candidate is on pace to distribute more than 20,000 so-called Biden Economic Relief cards in the first 48 hours since its public launch.
Burgum is offering a deal to donors – send in a dollar donation to receive a $20 dollar gift card in return.
Campaign spokesman Lance Trover says at this pace they should reach the 50,000 contributor max by the end of the weekend.
Republican presidential candidates hoping to join the first GOP primary debate must have a minimum of 40,000 unique donors to their campaign – with at least 200 unique donors per state or territory in 20 states and/or territories.
The debate is set for August 23rd.
