A 25 year old St. Cloud man died after crashing his motorcycle while trying to elude police over the weekend.
The Minnesota State Patrol says Jacob Olson was one of three bikers speeding on Highway 15 around 2:15 Saturday afternoon. An officer of the St. Cloud Police Department was attempting to stop the riders – but was unable to catch up due to the speed of the vehicles.
As the group attempted to exit the road Olson lost control on the ramp and struck a guardrail. He was transported to a St. Cloud hospital where he died. The accident remains under investigation.
