The candidate pool for the next city administrator in East Grand Forks is down to four finalists.
The hiring firm David Drone Associates is assisting in the search process and presented the city with eight semi-finalist – of which one has dropped out. The city council cut that list in half last night (Tuesday) and set final interviews for June 26th.
The day will also include a tour of East Grand Forks and time to meet with the various department heads. Mayor Steve Gander says getting staff input is important. Council President Mark Olstad says he thinks getting department heads involved is a good idea.
The city is looking to replace David Murphy who left earlier this year for a position in St. Joseph (MN).
