The area sits on the wet side of the dike and is not protected by the permanent flood control system.
With forecast temperatures this week the melt process will continue and will become more rapid.
For most areas the National Weather Service if projecting crest between the 50th percentile and the 25th. For Grand Forks –East Grand Forks that would put the river reaching between 44.4 feet and 46.5 feet.
The meeting for the neighborhoods is set for Wednesday at Fire Station #5 (5:30 p.m.)
