An omnibus hearing has been scheduled April 25th for a Crookston man facing several charges including attempted murder. 36-year old Kevin Corona appeared in Polk County District Court on Thursday in Connection with a March 3rd stabbing incident.
According to court documents Crookston police were sent to a home to investigate a possible stabbing in progress. When officers approached the house they saw a male leaning over a female victim with both his hands around her neck. The officer reported both were covered in blood and a knife was on the ground. The victim was air-lifted to a hospital in Fargo.
The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
