The North Dakota House has passed a Senate bill boosting the appropriation to UND’s Energy and Environmental Research Center.
Funding had been at $5 million per biennium.
The Senate bill increased that total to $10 million, but the House Appropriations Committee split the difference and set funding at $7.5 million.
The House today (Fri) voted 80-to-8 to ratify the bill.
The amended measure goes back to the Senate for approval.
