Bemidji nurses land new deal

By Doug Barrett Mar 10, 2023 | 7:57 AM

Nurses at the Bemidji Medical Center have reached a tentative agreement with Sanford Health on a new three-year contract.

As a result a planned picket for Monday has been cancelled.

According to the Minnesota Nurses Association the deal includes salary increases…better accrual of paid time off… stronger language to protect the nurses’ contract in case of a change in ownership…and prevents concessions south by Sanford.

A ratification vote on the tentative deal will be scheduled in the coming days.
