Bail has been set at $1.5 million cash for a Rolla (ND) man charged in a fatal shooting at a Sheyenne bar.
Forty-five-year-old Nicholas Poitra is charged with murder and ten other felony counts in connection with the Sunday night incident at Rindy’s Bar.
Authorities say 30-year-old Troyal Thumb was shot and killed during an argument.
Poitra fled the scene, but was found by a farmer in Eddy County on Wednesday afternoon and held at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.
Poitra’s next court date is scheduled for March 9th.
