Will Grand Forks end up in court over the failed Fufeng project?
The President of the Grand Forks City Council says it could happen. Dana Sande says even with a solid development agreement the company made a significant investment trying to bring the corn milling plant to town.
Recently a top U.S. Air Force official cited national security concerns with locating the China-based company in close proximity to the GFAFB. That prompted the city council to pull the plug on the project.
Sande says court action could occur simply as a matter of principle. He says that seems to be the way to do it these days.
The Grand Forks council will receive an update Monday night on Fufeng related projects.
