A Moorhead (MN) man charged in connection with the death of his mother appeared in a Clay County courtroom on a 1st degree murder charge yesterday (Thursday).
25-year old James Kollie Jr. was originally charged with 2nd degree murder. The victim was found in her Moorhead home in early December.
Bail was set at $4 million dollars without conditions…$2 million with conditions.
If convicted, he faces up to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
