North Dakota opens NCHC play with 4-1 win

Riese Gaber scored twice to help lead North Dakota to a 4-1 victory over Omaha Friday night from Baxter Arena in Omaha.

Ethan Frisch added a power play goal and Jackson Kunz hit the back of the net in a game that saw North Dakota finish with a 38-22 shot advantage.

Drew DeRidder stopped 21 of 22 shots to secure the win.

Gaber now has goals in five of his last six games, including points in each game.

The two teams meet again Saturday night
