ND LIHEAP applications available

North Dakota’s Fuel Assistance program is heating up for another winter season.
Applications for the upcoming 2022-2023 heating season can be submitted through May (2023).

The federally funded low-income program helped 14,430 qualifying North Dakota households this past season by providing an average of $1,097 in assistance per household.
A family of four can qualify with a monthly income of $5,353 dollars or less.

Both homeowners and renters can apply. However, individuals living in subsidized housing or who are receiving housing assistance with their heating through rent are not eligible for LIHEAP.
