A 35-year old East Grand Forks man faces felony pornography charges involving minors.
East Grand Forks police and the Minnesota BCA initiated an investigation involving David Detwiler after a cyber-tip was received that suspected child pornography was being viewed on electronic devices at his residence. According to the criminal complaint police found over 10,000 images and 262 videos on a cell phone.
He is charged with seven counts of possessing pornographic work of a minor under 14 and one count of 5th degree possession of a controlled substance.
Each of the seven counts carries a maximum sentence of ten years and/or a ten-thousand dollar fine.
He is currently jailed in the Northwest Regional Correctional Center in Crookston (MN).
