A 35-year old East Grand Forks man faces felony pornography charges involving minors. East Grand Forks police and the Minnesota BCA initiated an investigation involving David Detwiler after a cyber-tip was received that suspected child pornography was being viewed on electronic devices at his residence.
According to the criminal complaint police found over 10,000 images and 262 videos on Detwiler’s cell phone.
He is charged with seven counts of possessing pornographic work of a minor under 14 and one count of 5th degree possession of a controlled substance.
Each of the seven counts carries a maximum sentence of ten years and/or a ten-thousand dollar fine.
