Grand Forks has filled the open 911 Center Director position with an internal candidate. The city council has approved the hiring of Shannon LaHaise to fill the post left vacant by the retirement of Becky Ault last month.
A total of 21 people applied for the post – with four candidates slated for interviews. During the process two finalists withdrew their applications.
LaHaise had served in the role of 911 Center Manager.
